New Life Beginnings Church is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ at home and around the world.
We are a church that believes in the five-fold ministry in Ephesians chapter 4. We believe that God is sending people to us to raise up and train and send out to the nations.
We are deeply involved in our local area. Our Pastors, Brad and Ann Marie Morgan, regularly work with local area Churches and Pastors in efforts to break the stronghold of poverty and bring unity to our area. Please agree with us in prayer as we work together to answer God’s call to share Jesus’ love.
We are involved in foreign missions as well. Many in our congregation regularly travel to Africa and South America where they minister the Gospel and Spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
New Life Beginnings Church ministers to local youth every Wednesday evening. We love the opportunity to spread love and reach out to those in need.
We also sponsor a Ministry called “The Business Support Group”. This group is dedicated to helping people start new businesses and improving their existing business. This group meets monthly. For more information on The Business Support Group, please call 281-346-2462.
Our church body is reaching out to a community in need – both children and adults. We hold a Back to School Rally in which we provide school supplies for the children who attend our church services each week. Since 2001, this has been an important outreach of our church. Our Christmas outreach is to supply a Christmas gift for each child that attends our Wednesday service. We are in this area to make a difference by sharing God’s love and compassion.
Working with Other Local Churches
God has shown us that one of the keys to taking the area is in being in unity with other pastors and churches in the area. In April of 2006, God spoke to the Pastor Brad about partnering with one of the African American churches in the area. The pastor had an 1800 square foot slab that had been poured fifteen years before. Through a miracle we found out that he had a friend who would loan him $43,200 to finish the building interest free. Several churches that were part of the ministerial alliance are participating in the venture. The building was completed and dedicated in January of 2007. This is the first phase of a youth center that will touch the youth in the area for Christ. In May of 2009 the friend forgave the balance of the note which was $21,600.
About The Pastors
In his public life, Pastor Brad Morgan taught in the public schools for nine years and in private Christian schools for six years. His wife, Ann Marie is over the children’s ministry.
New Life Beginnings Church Biography
We had our first service in January of 2000. God spoke to Pastor Brad Morgan and gave him a prophetic word about God sending an “abundance of rain” to the Brookshire-Pattison area.
Thus, we began meeting on Wednesday evenings at Apostolic Faith Church in Pattison, Texas.
There were around twenty people in attendance at our first meeting.
In 2001, God began to speak to us to reach out to the children in the area. And so we began the children’s ministry. In July, God spoke to us to purchase a van for the ministry.
Soon, God told us to sow $1,000 into a minister who was going to Africa. At the time, we were only taking in about $3,000.00 a month. Shortly after that, Pastor Brad met a pastor friend for lunch that wanted to sow into the purchase of a van so that we could provide transportation for our new ministry. He sowed $5,000 towards the purchase of our van.
For the previous 17 years, we had been members of Faith West Church where Pastor Brad and his wife had served in various volunteer capacities. But in April of 2002, we formally founded New Life Beginnings Church.
Also in April, we purchased 21 acres of land in Pattison, Texas and began holding weekly Sunday services.
In June 2002, we outgrew the homes where we were having our Church services. We moved our Sunday service to a community center in Fulshear.
In November of that year, the growth of our Wednesday service created the need for us to purchase a 36-passenger bus.
And by December 2002, we saw the Lord provide the money for the land to be paid off.
In our fourth year, it was time to begin to look at possible building plans. In March of 2003, we were incorporated as a church and formed a governing board of men and women elders.
